JobCouncil Virtual Hackathon

The JobCouncil Hackathon by ChainML is a 2-week virtual sprint for data scientists, developers, and tech professionals.

Dive into generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), create innovative solutions, and elevate your profile in the AI community.

We’ll be building tools with ‘Council’, an open source platform that leverages agents and chains for greater control and customization when building business applications. What you don’t know, we will teach you with examples! It's not just a competition; it's your opportunity to shine!

As part of the JobCouncil Hackathon, we're holding virtual "office hours" to help get you up to speed and ready for the exciting opportunity and challenge. You do not need to attend the call to participate in the Hackathon, but you do need to register to get the recording. Our Head of AI Education, Shingai Manjengwa, will be there to answer all of your questions and share more details about JobCouncil. See details below.

The Hackathon Task: Develop AI agents using ‘Council’ to perform a marketing function. Create unique skills and chains that generate intelligent responses.

Example: This is an example of an ‘AI Marketing Assistant’ to get you started but you may create something completely different.

Prizes: Win up to $500 for your exceptional work!

How to participate:

1. Look at the example and read the Council documentation on GitHub.
2. Come up with a great idea for a project, design it, and start coding!
3. Submit Your Work: Share your GitHub or Colab file by the specified deadline. Submit here.
4. Join the ChainML Discord to ask questions and engage with the community.
5. There are 3 prizes for projects that create compelling projects with Council.

Rules:

1. You may make up to 3 submissions for each Hackathon but the ideas must be different and not easily merged into one project - quality not quantity!
2. Note the job board where you are applying - we run multiple Hackathons throughout the year and you must submit to the correct competition
3. You may not submit the same project to different job boards - we’ll know.
4. If you work in a team, add all your team member information in the “Notes About Your Implementation” section i.e., Email, LinkedIn, Discord. Only submit one project. Max 3 members on a team and the prize will be sent to the person who submits.
