Job Summary:
We are looking for statistical programmers to join our SAS to R migration team. Our company provides these services across industries, but our focus is on clinical programming for the pharmaceutical industry. A successful candidate will demonstrate close attention to detail to fully replicate SAS workflows and output in R. This will require proficiency in all major applications of the R language, including a working knowledge of Quarto and Shiny. However, the primary focus will be on data manipulation, dataset preparation, and biostatistical analyses.
The core responsibility for this position is to replicate existing SAS workflows in R. Our team works in R as our primary language, but a good understanding of the SAS system is required for a successful migration.
It is unlikely that a candidate would need to develop novel SAS code; however, they should have a solid understanding of the SAS DATA step, statistical procedures, and the SAS Macro system.
We have provided SAS to R migration services across multiple industries, including market research, finance, and life sciences. Our primary client base includes several large pharmaceutical companies which require a code base to closely align with regulatory requirements. Successful candidates to this role will have demonstrated experience with clinical programming and be able to replicate CDISC data and reporting standards in R and have a solid understanding of the statistical tools used in clinical data analysis.
Consulting is about solving novel problems for our clients. We are looking for a candidate who sees each new challenge as an opportunity to expand their experience, learning new technical skills, analytic methods, and operating environments.
ProCogia serves clients across North America, so a successful candidate will have demonstrated a strong independent work ethic with a track record of delivering results while working remotely without close supervision.
