Job Summary
This role requires a seasoned leader with deep expertise in Program Management to oversee the below responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, quarterly planning, retrospectives, and team demos, ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively.
- Establish and maintain a strong cadence for the team’s Scrum processes, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Coach team members on Agile practices and principles to build a high-performing team.
- Promote a collaborative and energetic team environment, organizing team-building events to strengthen team cohesion.
- Manage multiple workstreams for a shared services team supporting multiple business units.
- Prioritize analytics requests across various teams, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to set clear expectations, communicate progress, and align on priorities.
- Deliver executive-ready reports and presentations that effectively communicate team status, risks, and accomplishments.
- Drive process improvements by identifying and implementing creative solutions to enhance team workflows.
- Manage and configure team tools like Airtable and Confluence to streamline documentation, collaboration, and task tracking.
- Act as a proactive problem solver with a continuous learning mindset, adapting processes as needed to support team growth.
- Monitor and manage risks across projects, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide comprehensive status updates and polished reporting to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Preferred Experience:
- Leverage experience with engineering and data science teams to bridge communication and enhance technical delivery.
- Apply knowledge of Agile practices to align processes with team needs and business objectives.
- Utilize familiarity with Airtable and Confluence to improve documentation and workflow management.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Program Manager, Scrum Master, or in a similar role, preferably supporting engineering or data science teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and hands-on experience running Scrum ceremonies (planning, retrospectives, demos, and quarterly planning).
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize requests in a shared services environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver executive-ready reports and presentations.
- Proactive problem-solver with a creative approach to process improvements and a continuous learning mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, build team cohesion, and organize team-building activities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
- Experience with Airtable and Confluence for workflow and documentation management.
- Familiarity with risk management and status reporting for technical teams.
- Prior experience working with data science teams or in analytics-driven environments.
Other Requirements
- Local to the area and open to working in-office at least three times per week.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, go-getter and team-oriented personality, with the ability to inspire and motivate a newly formed team.
Education:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, computer engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related disciplines
Experience:
- An experienced professional will have at least 10 years of professional experience in a Program/project management role.
