What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager - Data Transformation role will enable our business partners to meet their strategic goals by identifying, delivering and evolving the data ecosystem and its capabilities while ensuring the integrity and completeness of data in support of regulatory and compliance initiatives. You will also play an important role in building up data management practices at RBCC, working on strategic projects with functional partners including but not limited to the Chief Data Office (CDO), Data Management Office (DMO), Risk, Privacy, and Legal.

What will you do?

  • Provide strategic thought leadership in shaping the architecture, operating model and governance of the data ecosystem
  • Lead the development, delivery, and execution of key strategic priorities to enable data access to key partners across Caribbean Banking and The Enterprise (Product Analytics Team)
  • Coordinate delivery roadmap with other RBCC initiatives to ensure alignment
  • Lead the development of methods and processes for cleansing data across RBCC systems
  • Lead and coordinate RBCC teams to design remediation plans, remediate and monitor progress for data issues
  • Lead and act as the Data Ecosystem Guardian and Subject Matter Advisor on data ecosystem compliance initiatives
  • Support or lead the development, delivery, and execution of key strategic capabilities to enable our data community to leverage data to inform their business decisions
  • Provide expert advice, consulting, direction and support to business unit of ways to leverage the new information capability as well as existing processes and infrastructure to drive business value

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field
  • Experience and knowledge of the data environments including the Data Warehouse Environment (DWE), Enterprise Data Lake (EDL), Cloud
  • Ability to understand the data ecosystems with technical acumen guiding data strategy, and ability to interact with IT and vendors
  • Strong knowledge of RBCC businesses, processes, data and systems
  • Knowledge of and experience with Regulatory, Legislative and Data Privacy policies
  • Superior interpersonal skills – able to work effectively with a diverse cross-section of individuals across business, functional and organizational boundaries in a complex and diverse organization
