Key Responsibilities
Technical Problem Formulation and Business Context
• Apply knowledge of analytics, big data analytics, and automation techniques to identify options for addressing business problems.
• Demonstrate understanding of use cases, desired outcomes, and business metrics across various domains such as product, finance, marketing, and sales.
• Develop forecasting models to predict future trends and business outcomes.
• Support the development of business cases and recommendations, and drive project activities and tasks.
Data Governance and Strategy
• Support the documentation and implementation of data governance processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical requirements around data privacy, security, storage, and retention.
• Develop and apply data strategies that align with business goals, ensuring data quality, governance, and scalability.
• Implement forecasting methodologies and best practices in data governance.
Data Source Identification, Transformation, and Integration
• Identify suitable data sources and perform initial data quality checks.
• Design and build data pipelines using techniques like ETL batch processing and streaming ingestion.
• Develop logical and physical data models, including data warehouse and data mart designs.
• Write and maintain code in languages such as SQL, Java, C++, and Python, Spark and create test cases to validate solutions.
• Integrate data sources to support accurate and timely forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications
• Proven experience in data engineering, data management, and data governance.
• Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and other database technologies.
• Proficiency with an orchestrator like Airflow.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, GCS, Dataproc, etc.
• Proficiency developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes using Spark and Python.
• Experience with forecasting techniques and time series analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics, Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related field, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
